BS424-2/4 indoor base station
Description
BS424-2 (BS424-4) is a multi-carrier multi-standard indoor base station.
DAMM BS424-2 (BS424-4) is an 8-carrier (BS424-2) or 16-carrier (BS424-4) MultiTech (TETRA/DMR Tier2 / DMR Tier3/ Analog) indoor system in one rack and is complementary to MultiTech Outdoor Base Station BS422 and other base stations.
The BS424-2 (BS424-4) may be used in networks where high traffic capacity is required (up to 31 or 63 traffic channels).
Available a high power version with 50W at TX connector for TETRA and up to 100W at TX connector for DMR.
It is designed for fully IP based connectivity and allows for remote supervision and diagnostics, test, control, setting and software update, file transfer and SNMP.
The BS424 supports fully GPS or IP (IEE1588) synchronized discontinuous transmission. This allows a dramatic decrease in power consumption and increase a lifetime, as only the active timeslots needs to be powered, until traffic load requires more carriers to be on air.
BS424-2/4 fully supports voice + data services in full and half duplex modes, compliant with the TETRA, DMR Tier 2 or DMR Tier 3 at the same very time.
Access to all units is from the front, protected by a lockable door, and all external connectors are located on top of the rack.
The BS424-2/4 consists of up to 2 (BS424-2) or up to 4 (BS424-4) transceiver modules BS422-HR, fan unit, power supply system, switch and up to 2 PC422 controllers.
